Using Notepad++ is ... Using Notepad++ is much better then using just normal notepad because you can change the language to HTML and it colors in all the words so you know that you have written it correctly,also you don't have to do all that? file changing because it automatically changes it to the format....and its free. just Google it

you say it wrong ... you say it wrong the path name is C:\Users\Home\Documents\demo\First.html you don't have to put it in a folder. you just? click it once you saved it .

That type of ... That type of problem is usually the result of a typing error. Make sure that title is spelled correctly and that there are no spaces between the opening angle bracket and the word title. My best advice is? to double and tripple check all of your typing. Hopefully you will be able to see the problem.
Why doesn't the ... Why doesn't the title? tag work on my browser? I did it exactly as you showed but it didn't change the name and continued to show the location of the file even when refreshed and reopened.

hi.. i find this ... hi.. i find this very interesting. been trying to follow the instructions.. everything seems to work however when i try to do the 'title" for the browser's description... it doesnt seem to appear on the browser? i already tried it a couple of times but it doesnt seem to work... im using a mozilla firefox... any suggestions would be really appreciated.. thanks!?
when i save notepad ... when i save notepad closes and when i try to reopen it in the "Demo" file i created notepad will not open it ~ also, when i type file:/// ... into my firefox browser it will not open but when i go to documents > Demo > first.html and double click that's when it will open in a browser.

Finding an editor was a bit of a struggle. I found (a few) freeware editors for Windows, but I found a great? one after a long search and comparing called webstract studio. (search google) After playing a while with the demo I bought it for only ?25. WOW!!! I seriously can recommend it to others. Just try it. You won't be disappointed. HAHAHA!!! I can even add colors to my project!!!
